Elo has been hitting hard on the dj scene 15 years strong and is an active member of dA e SquAd dJs, _dA ScrAtch phAnAtIcS, Super DJs, & associate of The RoundTable DJs. Elo became fascinated with the art of being a dj from the likes of The Core Djs' Xrai Tha Tech (formerly known as dj x-ray of Smash/Polygram Records recording artist Ten Tray). As a youngster Elo would kick back & watch his big brother (Xrai) cut & mix vinyl on his Technics 1200 turntables. Later, Elo would start sneaking into venues where Xrai spinned & it would be mad crazy up in there.  Stick with me for a minute kinfolk.  Elo couldn't believe the energy & hypeness from the clubgoers when Xrai would take an acapella, mash it up with a totally different instrumental, & then just totally rip it up. It was then that Elo decided to retire his MC Hammer pants & give this dj thing a spin. Elo would practice mixing & back scratching on his first set of Gemini's DJ In A Box turntables to try & master this beat matching thing that true DJs do. After realizing that this backspinning & manipulating of wax technique was next to impossible to pull off on a belt-driven turntable Elo stepped up his game and got a set of Numark's Pro TT2 Direct-Drive turntables. From there the rest is history. Elo started doing house parties, mix-show sets on college & mainstream urban radio stations, to having j marie (lil sis) booking him gigs at big time universities & city park events. Elo can now be caught doing his thing on dA elo ShOw, Club Karancho's, along with guest dj appearances at various venues, The Real Mix Show, & now on RapStation.com! My goodness, does this dude ever sleep cause I heard rumor from Daydae up the block that Elo is bionic? But on the real I aint one to gossip so you aint heard nothing from me. Oh my bad, lets keep it moving with Behind The Beat "dA elo StOry" part uno. Aside from laying down the streets hottest anthems ya boy Elo is known to rock any type of party that's thrown his way. This here party is just getting started so don't sleep on it family.
